Chicken Chettinad Fry

Another winner recipe from Dr. Rajeev Nandagopal! Absolutely lip smacking!
Ingredients
Chicken: 750 gms
Onions: 2 sliced thin
Tomatoes: 2 chopped

Dry roast and grind
Red chillies: 15
Cinnamon: 2″ stick
Shahi jeera: 1 tsp
Green cardamoms: 6
Clove: -6
Fennel- 1 tsp
Black peppercorns: 10
Coriander seeds: 1 tsp

Garlic: 15 cloves sliced thin
Ginger: 1 ” piece sliced thin
Curry leaves: 2 sprigs
Coriander: 1 cup chopped
Oil
Salt

Method
Heat oil and temper with curry leaves. Fry onions till light brown.
Throw in the tomatoes and cook till oil leaves the sides.
Add chicken and salt and cook on high heat for 5 mts.
Add the ground spice powder and mix well.
Lower heat and continue cooking till chicken is almost done. Add the ginger and garlic slivers and cook till done.
